Decorated Combat Veteran who Honorably served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, both CONUS and OCONUS for 22 years supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Desert Storm, retiring in 2008 from 78th SFS, & 116th SFS, Warner Robins, AFB, GA. Notable Accomplishment: 1st Female Combat Arms Weapons Instructor in the 116th SFS, and during her tenure, has trained several thousand soldiers and law enforcement officers.

20 year Master Police Officer/Detective, with DeKalb County Police Department, and Deputy with DeKalb County Sheriff Department Reserves, retiring 2016, graciously serving the citizens of DeKalb and Atlanta, and performing special operations assignments with surrounding metropolitan police departments to include: Atlanta Police Department, Fulton County Police and Sheriff Department, Gwinnett County Police, Cobb County Police and Henry County Police.
Mary has an impeccable diverse career working with Federal, State, Local Government as well as with the Private Sector.
Mary has completed over 19 years of academia education obtaining her Associate Degree in Business Management, Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Masters in Homeland Security, with honors, and earning the distinguished title of Magna Cum Laude, 3.9 GPA, and a Graduate Certificate in Disaster and Emergency Management. She also holds numerous memberships in various honors societies. Mary has obtained certification from Toastmasters International as a Certified Toastmaster, International Association of Emergency Managers earning the distinction of Certified Emergency Manager in 2011, FEMA, Master Exercise Planner (MEP). Mary’s next goal is achieving her Ph. D in Management/Economics.
During the creation of Security Blue’s infrastructure, within 15 months, the company sought after and received numerous high level credentials, just to name a few: Security Blue® received a registered trademark through the United States Patent and Trademark Office; verified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), through the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs; certified as a Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business Enterprise Program (SBE); hold dual certifications as a Certified County-Based Business in Prince George’s County, accredited by the Better Business Bureau Washington, DC Chapter; and eligible to pursue 8(a) small business certification. In October 2017, Security Blue® became a member of RMOA Business Association, Inc., (RBA). Security Blue® was also awarded the opportunity to submit a bid to MGM Resort National Harbor, and placed 3rd; however, received amazing accolades during the debrief from MGM procurement staff for submitting a thorough and outstanding bid response.
